The spark plug simulation system (10) for an EMC test bench comprises: ▪ a candle box (BB2) comprising interfaces for receiving at least one light source (LED) and an optical sensor (Copt) arranged in a manner detecting a light beam emitted by the light source (LED); ▪ an electrical bay for collecting electrical information from the optical sensor (Copt); ▪ a computer (K2) configured to generate an electrical signal for controlling the light source (LED) from a control setpoint; ▪ an operating console (CONS) comprising an interface for defining a lighting control setpoint of the light source (LED) and send it to the computer (K2).
