Quantization parameter (QP) technology is for showing that stream compression (DSC) is disclosed based on complexity measure. In an aspect, a kind of determining QP values, the complexity value selecting technology comprising the multiple previous blocks of determination calculate QP adjusted values current block based on identified complexity value from the technology of multiple restrictions. This method, which may further include, calculates the adjusted value that QP is used for current block, determines QP values for the QP adjusted values based on current block by selected technology.
