The present invention relates a process for obtaining biocide compounds derived from Bacillus sp. cultures, compositions and formulations thereof, and their use in conservation of objects of cultural heritage.;The process of the present invention involves culturing and growing of three Bacillus sp. strains under nutrient stress conditions to obtain an enhanced production of lipopeptides (LPPs) having biocide activity.;Bioactive crude extracts of these Bacillus sp. cultures containing LPPs are disclosed herein and also bioactive compositions and formulations comprising said biocide compounds.;Said bioactive compounds, compositions and formulations have application in control the biodegradation, biodeterioration and conservation of objects of cultural heritage.;Therefore, the present invention is in the area of microbiology, cleaning of artworks, and conservation work of antique objects.
