In order to provide a pressure limiting unit and a pressure booster for driving hydraulic tools with a pressure limiting unit, which offer the possibility to make a simple adjustment of the hydraulic pressure, it is provided that the pressure limiting unit connected to the actuator body position detection unit for determining the position, in particular axial position the adjusting body, an evaluation unit for determining the set hydraulic pressure in dependence on the position, in particular axial position of the actuating body and an output unit for displaying the set hydraulic pressure.
