To provide a thick/thin seeding device for a nursery container that enables achieving the seeding work from thick seeding to thin seeding, achieving equal seeding even if being the thin seeding, and achieving even high-density thick seeding of massive seed.SOLUTION: A thick/thin seeding device is provided as follows: a horizontal axis feeding roll 15 for supplying seeds to a nursery container being transferred by a carriage 1 is provided below a feed hopper; feeding recesses 16 being parallel to the bus direction of the horizontal axis feeding roll 15 and formed in a horizontal groove-shape are provided in the rotating direction of the horizontal axis feeding roll 15 in an outer circumferential surface of the horizontal axis feeding roll 15; a roll outer surface is provided between the feeding recesses 16 adjacent to the rotating direction and the axial direction of the horizontal axis feeding roll 15; the feeding recesses 16 and the roll outer surface are arranged and configured so as to be alternate and in a staggered manner in the rotating direction and the axial direction of the horizontal axis feeding roll 15; a seed return rotating brush 19 is provided in the feeding recesses 16; and the rotational speed of the horizontal axis feeding roll 15 and the seed return rotating brush 19 is configured so as to be changed to the thick seeding with a large feeding amount of seeds and the thin seeding with a small feeding amount of seeds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
