To provide an automatic transaction device that is able to appropriately handle information stored in a card.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device comprises: a card acceptance unit 2 that accepts a card; a card information acquiring unit 10 that acquires card information stored in the card accepted by the card acceptance unit 2; a specifying unit 20 that specifies a type of the accepted card on the basis of a format of the card information; a type information acquiring unit 30 that acquires type information indicating a type of a card to be accepted; and a processing setting unit 40 that switches a process for the card information on the basis of the type of the accepted card and the type information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
