To provide a connector that can be easily assembled and can be easily fitted while having a function of absorbing the displacement of a substrate.SOLUTION: A connector includes a first connecting portion 24 in which one end is connected to a substrate and the other end is connected to a second connecting portion, a fixing portion 26 that holds one end of the first connecting portion and is fixed to the substrate, a fitting portion 28 that holds the other end of the first connection portion and fits with the second connection portion by moving in a direction intersecting the mounting surface on which a connector 22 is surface-mounted. The fitting portion has a supported portion 28b that is supported by a support surface that supports the fitting portion when the connector is surface-mounted and extends from the fitting portion main body to the substrate side. When the tip of the supported portion on the substrate side comes into contact with the support surface, the fitting portion is supported by the supported portion at the position and posture before the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
