To provide a method for increasing hydrodynamic size or hydrodynamic volume of a target recombinant polypeptide.SOLUTION: A method includes: (a) a step of allowing 1 to 5 chorionic gonadotropin carboxy-terminal peptide (CTP) units to bond the target recombinant polypeptide by recombination; and (b) a step of expressing the target recombinant polypeptide in a host cell, in which the step includes a step of glycosylating the CTP unit. The target recombinant polypeptide includes a signal peptide bonded to an amino terminal of the target recombinant polypeptide corresponding to a selection, and in the target recombinant polypeptide in which the CTP units are glycosylated, a hydrodynamic size of the target recombinant polypeptide becomes larger by approximately 28 to 53kDa each time when one glycosylated CTP unit is bonded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
