To provide an electrochemical reaction cell with suppressed stagnation of an electrolytic solution even when the cell is upsized, and an artificial photosynthesis cell using the same.SOLUTION: An electrochemical reaction cell for electrochemically reacting a chemical material contained in an electrolytic solution 106 by opposing an electrode 104 for reduction reaction to an electrode 102 for oxidation reaction by separating the electrodes and circulating the electrolytic solution 106 between the electrode 104 for reduction reaction and the electrode 102 for oxidation reaction, comprises: an introduction port for introducing the electrolytic solution 106 between the electrode 104 for reduction reaction and the electrode 102 for oxidation reaction; and an exhaust port 20 for exhausting the chemical material generated from between the electrode 104 for reduction reaction and the electrode 102 for oxidation reaction by electrochemical reaction together with the electrolytic solution 106. A connection region 26 leading to the exhaust port 20 in a passage of the electrolytic solution 106 includes an inclined part in which an inclination angle θ is 3° or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
