To provide a method which rapidly and simply analyzes a metallic abrasion powder and foreign matter caused by abrasion of a sliding part and mixed in a lubricant to detect the abrasion of the sliding part, thereby performing operation management of mechanical equipment provided with the sliding part.SOLUTION: An operation management method of a machine with a rolling bearing comprises: (a) a step of obtaining color information about a lubricant used for the rolling bearing; and (b) a step of comparing the obtained color information with a preset threshold value, thereby determining necessity for replacement of the rolling bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
