PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic spray method capable of partially changing the coating amount of a liquid coating a coating object.;SOLUTION: In an electrostatic spray method coating a coating object 40 with a liquid only by an electrostatic force from the liquid spray part 20 of an electrostatic spray device 10,: the conductive or semiconductive attraction electrode 30 of the electrostatic spray device 10 is disposed at a first position close to the coating object 40; a voltage generating the electrostatic force between the coating object 40 and an attraction electrode 30 and the liquid spray part 20 is applied while the coating object 40 and the attraction electrode 30 have the same electric potential; a spray step spraying the liquid toward the coating object 40 is included; the first position is a position within an existing range of the coating liquid of the coating object 40 among spraying liquids when the attraction electrode 30 is not disposed; and a part of the liquid which should be coated to the coating object 40 is attracted to the attraction electrode 30 and not coated to the coating object 40 when the attraction electrode 30 is not disposed in the spray step.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
