PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating area control method for a heated body, capable of instantly switching an electric field strength distribution of a formed single-mode standing wave into a desired electric filed strength distribution state, and thereby capable of controlling a heating area of a heated body, and also to provide a heating area control method for a heated body, capable of uniformly heating a wide area by utilizing a single-mode standing wave.;SOLUTION: A heating area control method for a heated body includes forming a standing wave in a cavity resonator 1 provided with a heated body at the inside thereof by supplying to the cavity resonator microwaves of a frequency that can form a standing wave in the cavity resonator simultaneously through two or more microwave supply ports provided in the cavity resonator while adjusting the phases.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
