To provide a battery-type forklift having a simple structure and a low height position of a battery storage part.SOLUTION: The battery-type forklift includes a first frame 41 having an opening 42 used as a take-out port from which a buttery is taken out, a notch 32 having a width narrower than that of the opening 42 of the first frame 41, a second frame 31 in that an edge of the notch 32 serves as a buttery mounting part, and guide members 51a, 51b mounted on the buttery mounting part of the second frame 31. The edge of the notch 32 of the second frame 31 includes a pair of side edges extending in a taking-out direction of the buttery. The guide members 51a, 51b are mounted on respective top surfaces of the pair of side edges so as to extend along the side edges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
