To provide a catcher's mitt that can be sewn by a sewing machine for thickness cloth sewing, a core material for the catcher's mitt, a manufacturing method of the core material of the catcher's mitt and a sewing jig.SOLUTION: A catcher's mitt includes a foundation core 22, a thumb core 24, a long little finger core 25 and a short little finger core 26. A foundation core thumb side component 222 is formed in a shape so as to be directed toward a first distal phalanx from a ship-shaped bone. A foundation core little finger side component 224 is formed in a shape so as to be directed toward the fifth distal phalanx from a triangular bone. A foundation core center side component 226 is formed in the shape of substantially a heart shape. The thumb core 24 is formed in the shape of the foundation core thumb side component 222. The long little finger core 25 is formed in the shape of the foundation core little finger side component 224. The short little finger core 26 is formed in the shape along the shape of the wrist side of the foundation core little finger side component 224, and in the length of substantially 1/2 of the length of the long little finger core 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
