To provide a cuff pressure control device and cuff pressure control method capable of smoothly removing secretions stored in a cuff upper part, a trachea, and bronchial tubes, and a cleaning/sucking system for a bronchial tube in which a tracheal tube is inserted.SOLUTION: The cuff pressure control device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a cuff pressure adjustment part, a cuff pressure detection part, and a control part. The cuff pressure adjustment part compresses/decompresses a cuff. The cuff pressure detection part detects an internal pressure of the cuff. The control part has a first mode for controlling the cuff pressure adjustment part on the basis of the detection result of the cuff pressure detection part, such that the internal pressure of the cuff becomes within a prescribed range, and a second mode for controlling the cuff pressure adjustment part such that the internal pressure of the cuff becomes a set pressure exceeding the prescribed range, and changes from the first mode to the second mode on the basis of a first signal notifying of a start of cleaning/sucking of a cuff upper part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
