PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabrication method of spray mortar test piece which enables acquisition of a spray mortar test piece having easy-to-handle sizes and designed density.SOLUTION: A fabrication method of a spray mortar test piece uses a frame mold which includes an internal space of a square pole shape surrounded by a bottom surface member and a side surface member and an opening provided at a position opposing the bottom surface member and communicating the internal space with the external space and comprises filling the internal space with mortar by spraying the mortar from the opening toward the bottom surface member. The ratio S/H of the length (S) of the shortest side of the bottom surface of the internal space to the height (H) of the internal space is 0.5 or higher; the product of the area (cm) of the bottom surface of the internal space by the ratio S/H is 60 or greater; and the volume of the internal space is smaller than 13,000 cm.
