PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic device in which peel strength is improved over conventional one.SOLUTION: This electrochromic device has: a support medium; a first electrode layer formed on the support medium; an electrochromic layer formed on the first electrode layer; a peel prevention layer, being a porous film, formed on the electrochromic layer; an electrolyte layer formed on the peel prevention layer; and a second electrode layer facing the first electrode layer via the electrochromic layer, the peel prevention layer and the electrolyte layer, one face of the peel prevention layer being in contact with the electrolyte layer, the other face being in contact with the electrochromic layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
