The aim of the present invention is to provide a method and device for parsing a two-dimensional code. The present invention recognizes a two-dimensional code and parses website information corresponding to the two-dimensional code, so as to provide parsing result information to a user, wherein the parsing result information comprises content information corresponding to the website information. The parsing result information provided to the user in the present invention is explicit information. The user may directly know the content indicated by the two-dimensional code by means of the parsing result information, such as content information etc. Also, the user may, based on the parsing result information, selectively and more trustingly decide whether to further perform other processes on the two-dimensional code, such as accessing a page highlighted by the website information, sharing the two-dimensional code to a friend and so forth, thereby avoiding an emotion of fearing two-dimensional codes. Further, the present invention can also only parse website information which does not belong to problematic websites, which further improves the security of a process of using a two-dimensional code.
