RECEIVING DEVICE FOR RECEIVING A FOOD OR DRINK COMPONENT FOR A FOOD OR DRINK PREPARATION MACHINE, PARTICULARLY FOR BEVERAGE/MEAL PREPARATION IN AN AIRCRAFT GALLEY, AND A FOOD OR BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE

A receiving device (1) is proposed, which is constructed for reception of a food and drink component and is provided for or received in a food and drink preparation machine, particularly for preparation of a beverage and/or a meal in a galley of an aircraft. The receiving device (1) comprises a housing (2); a support device (3, 3A, 3B), which is constructed for receiving the food or drink component and which is movably mounted in the housing (2) and movable out of that; a locking and guiding mechanism (12-33), which is constructed in a fixing state to fix the support device (3, 3A, 3B) in the moved-in end position relative to the housing (2), in a securing state to block uncontrolled movement out of the housing (2) of the support device (3, 3A, 3B) arranged in a securing position, and in an unlocking state to allow movement of the support device (3, 3A, 3B) out of the housing section (2); and a front panel (4), which is movably mounted on the front side of the receiving device (1), for actuating the locking and guiding mechanism (12-33). The locking and guiding mechanism (12-33) is constructed to transfer the support device (3, 3A, 3B) from the fixing state to the securing state by a first external force (F1) applied to the front panel (4) and from the securing state to the unlocking state by a second external force (F2) subsequently applied to the front panel (4). The front panel (4) in the fixing state protrudes to a lesser extent from the support device (3, 3A, 3B) than in the securing state and the unlocking state. In addition, a food and beverage preparation machine (100) with the receiving device (1) is presented.
