The machine (1) for cleaning needle-carrying cylinders for textile machines comprises: - a base frame (2); - a washing tank (3), mounted on the base frame (2); and - dispensing means associated with the base frame (2) inside the washing tank (3) and adapted to dispense a washing liquid under pressure; which comprises means for setting in rotation (6a, 6b) a needle-carrying cylinder (7) around an axis of rotation (A) substantially coincident with a central axis (B) of the needle-carrying cylinder (7) which can be located at the washing tank (3), wherein the needle-carrying cylinder (7) comprises: - a cylindrical body (8) provided with two bases (9) opposite to each other, a work surface (10) and a plurality of grooves (46) formed in the work surface (10) and substantially parallel to the central axis (B); and - a plurality of needles (47), housed in a sliding manner in the grooves (46); wherein the dispensing means are oriented towards the means for setting in rotation (6a, 6b) and adapted to dispense the washing liquid in the direction of the work surface (10).
