Procedure for operating a gas turbine installation (28) in combination with a water heat treatment installation (2), which has the following stages: - generating a first exhaust gas (3) by means of the gas turbine ( 28), - cooling the first exhaust gas (3) to give a second exhaust gas (6) by means of a generator (4) of lost heat steam to a temperature level of 70 ºC to 250 ºC, - conducting a first hot water (13) from a condenser (10) towards an evaporator (12) inside the water treatment installation (2), - conducting the second exhaust gas (6) towards a heater (14) for heat transmission of exhaust gas to the first hot water (13), characterized in that air (11) is circulated by means of a fan (36) from the condenser (10) towards the evaporator (12) and back towards the condenser (10 ) and the first hot water (13) heated by the heater (14) and the air (11) inside the evaporator (12) exchange heat in countercurrent.
