Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on acomputer storage medium, for managing 3-D printing. The methods, systems, andapparatus include actions of receiving a request for objects that are storedby theserver, providing information describing the objects, receiving a request fordigital rightsfor printing the objects, and providing a description of the digital rightsfor printing theobjects. Additional actions include receiving a request to print theparticular object by aparticular printer, determining whether digital rights for printing theparticular objectpermit the request to print the particular object by the particular printer tobe fulfilled,generating printer instructions for printing the object, and providing theprinterinstructions to a printer controller that controls the particular printer.
