The invention concerns a fixed-wing drone comprising a body to which an empennage assembly is securely mounted, such that: - the empennage assembly comprises: * a left-hand empennage, comprising a longitudinally extending structural element, referred to as the left-hand girder, secured at one end to the body of the fixed-wing drone, and secured at a second end to a single left-hand surface, * a right-hand empennage, comprising a longitudinally extending structural element, referred to as the right-hand girder, secured at one end to the body of the fixed-wing drone, and secured at a second end to a single right-hand surface, - the left-hand empennage and the right-hand empennage are not linked to each other, - the left-hand empennage and the right-hand empennage, respectively, are secured to the body of the fixed-wing drone by a left-hand linking mechanism and a right-hand linking mechanism, respectively, which is removible.
