Provided is a novel sum-of-products operation device which is highly reliable and easy to use. Further provided is a novel neuron circuit which is highly reliable and easy to use. A sum-of-products operation circuit comprises a sum-of-products operator and an amplifier, wherein the sum-of-products operator supplies a group of input signals and a group of weighting information, generates a first current on the basis of the sum of products of the group of input signals and the group of weighting information, and supplies the first current. The amplifier is electrically connected to the sum-of-products operator, supplies the first current and a bias voltage, generates a sum-of-products signal, and supplies said sum-of-products signal. The sum-of-products signal provides a voltage on the basis of the first current between the sum-of-products signal and the bias voltage.
