An indoor testing device for a high-density resistivity instrument, comprising a control and computing system (1), a centralized high-density cable simulator or induced cable simulator (2), an electrode simulator (3), a resistance simulation device (4), an analog resistance pool (5), and an electrode converter (6). The control and computing system (1) is electrically connected with the high-density resistivity instrument by means of the centralized high-density cable simulator or induced cable simulator (2). The high-density resistivity instrument is located inside the electrode simulator (3). The electrode simulator (3) is located inside the resistance simulation device (4). One end of the resistance simulation device (4) is connected with one end of the analog resistance pool (5) by means of the electrode converter (6). The other end of the resistance simulation device (4) is connected with the other end of the analog resistance pool (5). The resistance simulation device (4) is connected with the analog resistance pool (5). Further disclosed is an indoor testing method for the high-density resistivity instrument.
