Provided are a positioning-based method and system for gathering players in the Fight the Landlord game, the method comprising the following steps: acquiring a positioning coordinate of the current terminal and WiFi signals of other terminals; counting the number of other players, and if the number of people is three, prompting a user to enter the page of the Fight the Landlord game; and allocating a game table for the three players to start the game. The technical solution provided in the present invention has the advantage of a good user experience.
