A modified phosphating agent. Based on 1000 parts by weight, the modified phosphating agent comprises the following components in parts by weight: 5 to 30 parts of phosphoric acid, 3 to 10 parts of zinc oxide, 0.5 to 3 parts of molybdenum salt, 0.5 to 5 parts of barium nitrate and the balance water. The modified phosphating agent has a long service life and a use temperature of 10ºC to 50ºC, and is used for the surface pretreatment of the metal component to form a color phosphating layer, and has a fine structure and firm adhesion.Also disclosed are a surface phosphating treatment method for a metal component, and a metal component obtained by using the surface phosphating treatment method.
