This remote monitoring system for an elevator is configured from an elevator device and a remote monitoring device. This elevator device is provided with: a priority adding unit which receives data including a warning signal transmitted from a control panel or an operation panel inside a car, and adds information including the priority of the data; and a transmission unit which transmits the priority-added data to the remote monitoring device. A receiving unit of the remote monitoring device delivers the data received from the elevator device to a protocol conversion unit according to the priority added to the data, and the protocol conversion unit converts the data, delivered from the receiving part, to MQTT protocol so as to correspond to any one among a plurality of DB servers according to the priority of the data.
