The invention relates to a novel machine for cleaning anilox rolls by means of a laser, which comprises a multi-laser head (4) with two or more laser modules (5) and which generates two or more contiguous focal points (16), the spacing between which can be changed by moving the laser modules (5) along a guide (6). The machine also includes a sensor wheel (28) linked to an encoder (21) operatively connected to an electronic system (22) of the machine and, specifically, to the emergency stop system (23). Another novel aspect of the invention relates to a method and means for auto-adjusting the laser focal point (16) to the diameter of the anilox roll, wherein the movement of a second movable support (20), which movement is proportional to the diameter of the anilox roll (2), is measured, said telemetric data being received by the electronic system (22) of the machine, which extrapolates the distance that the multi-laser head (4) must move for the focal point (16) to be located on the surface of the anilox roll (2), servomotors (11) of micrometric shafts (10) manoeuvring to lead the multi-laser head (4) to that position.
