A coal mine safety monitoring method, the method comprising: receiving first safety data of a coal mine that is acquired by detecting devices (701) in different regions of the coal mine at a first acquisition frequency, the first safety data comprising environment security data of regions corresponding to the detecting devices (701) and location identifiers of the detecting devices (701) (S301); when the first safety data meets a preset condition, generating second safety data according to pre-acquired work status data of the regions corresponding to the detecting devices (701) and the first safety data (S302); sending the second safety data to a ground server (703) such that the ground server (703) records, according to the second safety data, the correspondence relationship between the location identifiers of the detecting devices (701), the environmental safety data of the regions corresponding to the detecting devices (701) and the work status data (S410), thus completing safety monitoring for the coal mine. The present solution may solve the problem in the existing technology wherein a server receives excessive amounts of data, causing delays in data processing and thereby a current safety state of a coal mine cannot be truly reflected.
