METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CALLING REMOTE PROCEDURE USING SYNCHRONOUS MODE

A method and device for calling a remote procedure using a synchronous mode, the method comprising: creating a signal event corresponding to a remote procedure during calling of the remote procedure, the initial state of the signal event being a no-signal state (S101); sending a calling request required for calling the remote procedure to a called terminal of the remote procedure (S102); calling a preset function so as to suspend a thread corresponding to the remote procedure, and waiting for a request result returned by the called terminal (S103); and changing the state of the signal event to a signal state when the request result is received so that the preset function awakens the thread corresponding to the remote procedure (S104). With the described method, waste of system resources is reduced when a remote procedure is called, and the performance of a program is guaranteed.
