The invention discloses a client album management system based on cloud computing technology, and an interaction method thereof. The system comprises a local-photo viewing and selecting module, a single-photo editing module, a theme album editing module, a single-photo retrieval module, a theme album retrieval module, a cloud photo library management module, a theme album management module, and a search module. The modular data structure and system mode of an annotation combination and a theme album are capable of performing independent or interrelated operations, enabling multiple annotation combinations to be separately added to a single photo or video file, multiple photo and/or video files to be edited to generate a theme album, the individual addition of an annotation combination to each photo or video file, and associated retrieval of a single photo or video file or a related theme album. The invention fully satisfies the annotation and storage requirements for the photos and videos captured by a user, such that the user can comprehensively document their life and preserve their memories, while also precisely searching, conveniently retrieving, and happily sharing photo and video files stored in the cloud.
