A nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon-wrapped titanium dioxide composite photocatalyst, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving an organic ligand and Ti(OC3H7)4 into a mixed solution of methanol and DMF according to a certain ratio, and performing a hydrothermal synthesis reaction to obtain a titanium-based metal organic framework material (Ti-MOF) by means of centrifugation and drying; and pyrolyzing the obtained Ti-MOF in inert atmosphere, and then performing oxidation etching to prepare a nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon-wrapped TiO2 composite photocatalyst. The obtained composite photocatalyst not only facilitates the adsorption, enrichment and mass transfer of low-concentration VOCs, but also can efficiently degrade the VOCs by driving of sunlight. The composite photocatalyst has high degradation activity and stability in catalytic purification of the VOCs by visible light. Moreover, the catalyst has ease of synthesis, low preparation costs, and broad environmental protection application potential.
