Due to the lack of EV charging infrastructure in power distribution network, the conventional faster EV charging system will bring a significant impact to power grid. The installation cost including 11 kV power line and distribution transformer, operation cost will be higher than install the fast EV charging station only. To reduce the impact to power grid, and the installation and operation costs, the invention will provided a novel concept of bi-directional high power V2G fast EV charging station with energy storage system and solar PV. This new EV charging system can provide both technical and economical benefits to communities and power industry. The EV owners can also sale their additional energy remain in the EV to power companies through this EV charging station at high electricity price.
