Disclosed in the present invention are an image enhancement method, and image processing device. The image enhancement method comprises: acquiring at least two original RGB images capturing a same scene with different exposure durations; converting the original RGB images to an HSI space to obtain intensity component images, a saturation component image, and a hue component image; performing weighted fusion on the intensity component images to obtain a fused intensity component image; and converting the fused intensity component image, the hue component image, and the saturation component image to an RGB space to obtain an enhanced RGB image. The method is used to only perform computation and weighted fusion on the intensity component, thus simplifying a computation process and computational load, and reducing complexity of generation and computation of a high dynamic range image.
