A sleep body motion monitoring method, apparatus and a sleep body motion monitor (20). The sleep body motion monitoring method comprises: collecting air pressure data in a space kept warm (14); arranging the air pressure data in the order of the collection time to form a pressure data sequence (step 41); determining whether the air pressure data sequence satisfies a pre-set body motion condition (step 42); and and if satisfied, determining that body motion has occurred (step 43). By determining whether the air pressure data sequence in the space kept warm(14) satisfies the pre-set body motion condition, it is determined whether a user has moved his/her body during sleep. An air pressure sensor (22) is used to detect a body motion signal which is much more complicated than a switch signal, so as to realize a greater application value. Additionally, it is more intuitive and convenient to determine the user's body motion by using a change in air pressure in the space kept warm (14) during sleep than by using a change in acceleration brought about by motion of the user's head during sleep.
