A material for producing negative ion earmuffs, soundproof earmuffs and a manufacturing method; the earmuff material comprises a main material and auxiliary materials, the main material being 800-1200 parts by weight of an engineering plastic, and the auxiliary materials comprising: 2-20 parts by weight of a color powder, 20-60 parts by weight of a negative ion powder, and 0.1-2 parts by weight of a diffusion oil. The soundproof earmuffs comprise a negative ion component, and when the soundproof earmuffs are worn, negative ions may be emitted around the earmuffs, the negative ions around the ear easily being absorbed by the human body such that the soundproof earmuffs have a health care function.
