A molding method of a composite material member. The molding method comprises: S1, preparing a male mold (1), a foam material (2), and a prepreg according to actual requirements; S2, laying the prepreg on the male mold (1) according to a designed layering sequence and the designed number of layers; S3, compacting and connecting the male mold (1) and the foam material (2) to obtain a mold clamping structure, and then curing and molding the prepreg under designed temperature, pressure, and time conditions; and S4, after the curing is ended, demolding and taking out the cured composite material member. The method uses the male mold (1) and the foam material (2) as auxiliary means for compacting the prepreg. The foam material (2) has a good plasticity when being compressed and can ensure that forces in all directions of the member are uniform and adjustable, and the member is fully and uniformly compacted by providing pressure and a temperature machining curve by means of technology, so that situations such as layer separation, air holes, and air gaps, are improved.
