The present invention relates to a method of providing a user interface for managing an intellectual property and an intellectual property information system for supporting the method. A method of providing a user interface from a total intellectual property information system (TIPIS) includes the steps of: outputting a first fixed menu and a second fixed menu on a screen of a user terminal capable of accessing the TIPIS; outputting fields corresponding to items configured in the first fixed menu to the second fixed menu; outputting an event list including one or more events related to a selected field to a variable information area of the screen if one of the fields is selected; and outputting the event list to a first area of the variable information area, outputting basic information including bibliographic information for processing the selected event to a second area of the variable information area, and outputting a representative file for processing the selected event to a third area of the variable information area, when one event is selected from the event list.
