Disclosed is an ISG system of a hybrid automobile. The ISG system of a hybrid automobile according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a planetary gear set as a torque converting means; and an ISG performing motor and generator functions. The planetary gear set and the ISG can be disposed in a crankshaft pulley of an engine so that rotary force of a crankshaft of the engine is increased and transmitted to the ISG during power generation and power of the ISG is reduced at startup to be transmitted to the crankshaft of the engine.
