A method for managing an IoT network, an IoT network server applying the same, and a terminal are provided. According to the present invention, the method for managing an IoT network comprises the steps of: determining whether the terminal can participate when a network participation request is received from the terminal; and transmitting environmental setting information which is information on a communication environment of the terminal when an environmental setting request is received from the terminal. Therefore, a network can be efficiently managed while following a LoRaWAN standard, a network path can be efficiently changed when a change in a surrounding network environment, a malfunction of a gateway, etc. occur, and data can be stably transmitted by minimizing a collision between large scale facilities within a certain distance.
