The present invention provides a storage device including a nonvolatile memory and a controller. The controller includes a circuit for managing a job and a processor. The circuit for managing the job manages a first type job related to the nonvolatile memory, and the processor processes a second type job related to the nonvolatile memory. The circuit for managing the job manages the first type job without intervention of the processor. The processor responds to an alarm received from the circuit for managing the job, and provides a managing command to the circuit for managing the job. The present invention provides the storage device which is high-performing and high-efficient.
