The present invention relates to a system and method for recognizing a position of a worker (worker, work robot) working in a double hull of a ship with accuracy. Specifically, a system for position recognition of worker in a double hull of a ship comprises: workers working in a double hull of a ship; a plurality of position information acquirers wirelessly acquiring position information of the workers in the double hull; one or more access points for relaying the position information acquired by the plurality of position information acquirers; and a data processor for estimating moving line information based on the acquired position information, comparing the estimated moving line information with double hull design information to recognize an actual working position of a target worker.
