The present invention relates to a sight singing evaluation system which analyzes sound source data recorded by a user to compare the same with original scores, and a sight singing evaluation method using the system. The sight singing evaluation method comprises: a step in which sound source data recorded by a user is loaded to a server; a step in which an analysis module analyzes a pitch and length of the sound source data; and a step in which a display module displays the analyzed pitch and length as notes. The analysis module performs: a division step of dividing the sound source data by voice cells having a predetermined length; a conversion step of converting the divided one voice cell into a frequency region through Fourier transform; and a step of storing the converted one in an array on the basis of a maximum frequency value. Accordingly, according to the present invention, a user can practice a sight singing by seeing a score without any musical instruments such as pianos, and the present invention precisely analyzes sound source data recorded by the user, and displays the same as notes, thereby finding wrong parts accurately.
