Provided is an apparatus for providing an image from a search result page displayed on a web browser to display a webtoon image as a slide form. The apparatus comprises: a loading unit for loading the search result page on a web view; an extracting unit for extracting at least one image extracted from the loaded search result page; a rendering unit for rendering the extracted image on a canvas of the web view; an area detecting unit for dividing and detecting at least one background area and at least one scene area from the canvas on which the image is rendered; an area coupling unit for dividing the detected scene area into a coupling area where coupling is available and a non-coupling area where the coupling is unavailable, and generating the coupling area; and a display unit for displaying the coupling area and the non-coupling area with a screen unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
