The present invention relates to a method for planning a collision avoidance operation, which can be used in a scenario of cooperative automatic or autonomous driving. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: observing a surrounding environment of a vehicle (31); determining the risk of collision; and starting information exchange phase for associated vehicles (31, 32, 33) when the risk of collision exists. The associated vehicles (31, 32, 33) provides each other with a self-determined driving path (FS) during the information exchange phase. An evaluation phase, in which the vehicles (31, 32, 33) evaluate a self-driving path and driving paths (FS) received from other associated vehicles (31, 32, 33), is started. In addition, interactive safety zones (31S, 32S, 33S) for the associated vehicles (31, 32, 33), which should pass to avoid collision, are determined, and can be provided for the associated vehicles (31, 32, 33) to be reviewed with self-safety requirements. When the safety requirements are not satisfied, the vehicles (31, 32, 33) execute a state change from a collision avoidance state into a collision minimization state, and provides the other associated vehicles (31, 32, 33) with information on the state change.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
