The present invention relates to a method for obtaining cicadas larvae, comprising (a) a step of placing cicadas on a spawning ground comprising a dried tree and inducing spawning in the dried tree; (b) a step of freezing the dried tree, where the cicadas spawned through the step (a), at a temperature of -200 to -1°C for 1 second to 48 hours; and (c) a step of hatching eggs at a temperature of 15 to 45°C in the tree that has undergone the step (b) to obtain cicadas larvae. Accordingly, the hatching period of cicadas larvae and the total breeding period of cicadas of the present invention can be remarkably shortened, which can be very effective for mass production.
