The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating xeroderma, which contains a Phragmites communis root extract and serine-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles as active components. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating xeroderma and a cosmetic composition for preventing and alleviating xeroderma which contain the Phragmites communis root extract and serine-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles as active components.
