The present invention relates to a wired/wireless connection terminal authentication device based on fingerprint recognition, capable of improving the security of a terminal by allowing only a permitted user to access the terminal through fingerprint recognition-based security authentication conducted for the wired/wirelessly connected terminal. To achieve the purpose, the wired/wireless connection terminal authentication device includes: a rechargeable power supply part; a fingerprint recognition part recognizing a contact or contactless fingerprint; a terminal connection part connected with a security terminal for wired/wireless security authentication; and a security management part determining the suitability of the fingerprint depending on whether the fingerprint recognized by the fingerprint recognition part is registered or not, and generating an access permission signal for a specific accessible security terminal by extracting an access security grade matched with the fingerprint if the fingerprint is suitable.
