An Autonomous System and Method based on Distributed Cloud Environment

Disclosed is an autonomous driving system. The autonomous driving system comprises: a distributed cloud server identifying a node in an image taken from a camera installed in a small zone included in the entire zone where a robot is operated and performing mapping on zone map data corresponding to the small zone for the identified node in real time or predicting and monitoring a travel route of the identified node; and a central cloud server integrating the zone map data received from the distributed cloud server and calculating an optimal driving path that the robot will drive.
